SolarWinds Infrastructure Management Modules

Network Performans Manager

It is the module that helps you view a live diagram of your physical network elements (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and how they are connected. Unlike a static Visio diagram or Excel worksheet, the dynamic nature of the map clearly highlights problem areas with interactive elements such as color changes, flashing icons, or changes in the thickness of traffic flow lines. It allows you to instantly see the visual structure of the map and whether the performance is normal or not.

NetFlow Traffic Analyser (NTA)

Source, destination, application, protocol and IP address group of traffic, etc. based reporting and processing.

Network Configuration Manager (NCM)

It is a module that enables collective configuration backup and recovery of the network device or devices whose configuration is desired to be managed within the network, and contains technologies such as instant configuration change tracking, compatibility control, and control of the technical and sales support status of the device.

IP Address Manager

By being integrated with DHCP, DNS systems, all IP addresses owned in the network can be monitored and managed from a single interface. It includes special technologies such as learning from neighbor, IP conflict detection, IP history analysis, IPv6 transition analysis.

User Device Tracker (UDT)

It is a module that reports instantly and retrospectively of all wired or wireless devices in the network, which network device is connected to which port. The module can present the connected device information in the form of MAC address, IP address, Hostname, Domain Username.

VoIP and Network Quality Manager (VNQM)

It is a module that interprets call records made over IP phones managed by Cisco and Avaya VOIP exchanges, and reports outputs such as call detail history, RTT, jitter, latency, packet loss and MOS. In this way, the history and quality of all calls can be tracked through a single interface. By using Cisco IPSLA technology, the same module can perform network quality control tests and report outputs in a mesh structure from center to end or between ends.

System Management Modules

Server & Application Monitor (SAM)

It is a module that allows instant or retrospective reporting of server performance, capacity and physical health values, as well as easy monitoring of applications owned by companies with over 250 application templates (Windows®, Linux®, Citrix®, AD®, Java™ and more) that come with ready-made definitions. The module collects data over popular protocols without using any agents.

Web Performance Monitor (WPM)

It is a module that allows to determine the slowness or access problems in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and third-party plugins by checking them with simulation scenarios created by the user. With the agent structure, the performance of the same scenario can be reported from more than one location.

Network Configuration Manager (NCM)

It is a module that enables collective configuration backup and recovery of the network device or devices whose configuration is desired to be managed within the network, and contains technologies such as instant configuration change tracking, compatibility control, and control of the technical and sales support status of the device.

Virtualization Manager (VMAN)

It is a module that performs error and performance management with a focus on virtualization technologies in all VC, DC, Cluster, Host, Datastore, VM, Virtual App layers in Hyper-V and VMware virtualization environments. It is a leading module in its field with technologies such as unnecessary resource usage reporting (sprawl detection), keeping the history of all axio taken manually or dynamically in the virtual environment (Time travel), forward-looking approximate resource consumption or required increase cost calculation (Capacity Plannig).

Storage Resource Monitor (SRM)

The module can perform error and performance management over a single interface for all SAN and NAS storage systems from manufacturers such as EMC, Hitachi, NetApp, IBM, Dell, etc. While increasing performance and accessibility with the basic data it monitors, it provides very valuable information to Storage admins with its special technologies such as Capacity planning, I/O Hotspot Detection, Automatic Mapping.

Firewall Security Manager

It is a module that interprets call records made over IP phones managed by Cisco and Avaya VOIP exchanges, and reports outputs such as call detail history, RTT, jitter, latency, packet loss and MOS. In this way, the history and quality of all calls can be tracked through a single interface. By using Cisco IPSLA technology, the same module can perform network quality control tests and report outputs in a mesh structure from center to end or between ends.

Security Event Manager

It is the module that collects logs from different sources, makes sense of these logs, and creates alerts within the framework of determined rules and turns these alerts into action when necessary. It can be based on pre-built rules or use correlation engines that make associations between collected logs.
